  • Watercolour paper 140lb Hot Pressed or good quality cartridge paper

  • Large flat brush for washes, round brushes size 6 and 8, rigger

  • Paints - French ultramarine, permanent rose (or alizarin crimson), burnt sienna, Indian yellow, cobalt turquoise

  • 2B or 3B pencil, water soluble graphite pencil, sketchbook

  • Felt tip pen, brush pen, bamboo stick, garden stick or matchstick, dip pen and ink (blue or black), toothbrush, spray bottle
